My name is Kate Proverbs. I am a graduate of OSU with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, focus on Art & Technology.

While in college and beyond, I studied both traditional art, (like figure drawing, painting, and all manner of media) as well as digital art like computer 3-D modeling and digital animation.

After college, I explored many walks of life until settling into the teaching profession. I am currently the intermediate art teacher at JIS. While teaching, I rekindled my art-making skills and have been so pleased with my life since. It's a great dynamic where my career allows me to practice and teach the very thing I love: ART!
